The Foundation
Master Tan Seow May planted the first seeds of martial arts at the old SJKC Bachang. As a pioneering female martial artist in Melaka, she established BTTC with a vision to build character through the true spirit of Taekwondo.
Educational Integration
Master Tan began integrating Taekwondo into Melaka’s premier educational institutions, including SJKC Lih Jen, SJKC Pay Fong 2, and SMK Gajah Berang, ensuring martial arts became a core part of student development.
National Recognition
Under Master Tan's leadership, BTTC students consistently achieved top honors at state and national championships. She was recognized for her contributions to martial arts with her promotion to 8th Dan Black Belt.
Legacy & Spirit
With over 37 years of excellence, Master Tan continues to mentor the next generation of black belts, focusing on "Life-cycle Students" who grow from preschoolers to community leaders.
